Thai Smile Cuisine, an authentic Thai restaurant on Hilton Head Island, was founded in 2017 by Sawat Unkaew and Chef Mod, Kanlaya Ouychaisawad. Chef Mod developed her passion for cooking at a young age, learning traditional Thai recipes from her parents and grandparents. She absorbed the techniques and favors passed down through her family, driven by a desire to "serve the flavors of home."
